How it works
- Enter the guest’s phone number or e-mail when the booking comes in.
- See whether other hosts have reported documented incidents, and of what kind.
- Adjust the deposit, the house rules or the booking – the call stays yours.
- Report damage or a breach afterwards, with photos or a protocol, so other hosts are warned.
How is this different from platform reviews?
Reviews live inside one platform and describe an impression; Verifento records a documented incident and is visible across platforms and companies. A guest who was banned on one booking site simply moves to another, and the next host starts from zero. A shared incident record follows the identifier, not the platform account.
Are guest names shared between hosts?
No. Names, addresses and contact details are never in the database – only irreversible fingerprints of the identifiers. Another host cannot browse your guests or learn who stayed with you; they can only find out that the person they are about to host has a documented record.
What if the guest disputes the record?
They can. The data subject has the right of access, rectification, objection and erasure, and the company that filed the record must be able to support it with evidence. When a matter is resolved the status is updated, and when a record turns out to be unfounded it is deleted. Every access is written to an audit log that cannot be rewritten.
Which industries are covered
21 industries, each with its own incident types and its own evidence requirement – from renting out accommodation, vehicles and machinery to wholesale, construction subcontracting and freight. The full list is in the industry overview.
