This platform does not use any analytical or marketing cookies. The analytics tool (Vercel Analytics) is completely cookieless. Therefore, no cookie banner or cookie consent is required.

Luxria s.r.o. (hereinafter the “Controller”) operates the Verifento platform (verifento.com) – an all-in-one solution for rental companies, rental services, and B2B businesses. The platform combines shared customer and business partner verification within a network of companies, rental and contract management, invoice issuance, and company website creation with an integrated booking system.

This policy explains what client-side and server-side technologies we use, why we use them, and what settings options you have.

2. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your session (e.g., login) and preferences.

In addition to traditional cookies, there are also localStorage and sessionStorage technologies, which work similarly but are not sent to the server – they remain exclusively on your device.

The use of cookies and similar technologies in Slovakia is governed by:

  • Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications, § 109(8) – technically necessary cookies do not require consent
  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) – Art. 6(1) defines the legal bases for processing personal data
  • Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection – Slovak implementation of the GDPR
Pursuant to § 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll., storing cookies without consent is permitted if it is strictly necessary for the provision of the service explicitly requested by the user. All cookies used by Verifento fall within this category.

4. Overview of Technologies Used

The following table lists all cookies that Verifento stores on your device and, for completeness, the analytics tool that stores nothing on it. What the platform keeps in your browser's local storage (localStorage) is described below the table.

In addition to cookies, the platform keeps your interface preferences in your browser's local storage (localStorage) – the selected language, light or dark appearance, collapsed side menu, the settings last used in the QR code generator and similar conveniences. These are purely choices of appearance and controls; they contain no personal data, are not used for tracking, and we do not pass their contents on anywhere. Two of them are different in kind: cookie_consent and vf_cookie_prefs hold your cookie decision so that we do not ask you again on every visit. You can remove all of these at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser settings.

A cookie consent banner (pop-up) is required under Slovak and European law only if the website uses cookies that are not essential for providing the service (e.g., marketing, advertising, or optional analytics cookies).

Verifento exclusively uses:

  • Essential cookies (authentication) – exempted under § 109(8)
  • Cookieless analytics (Vercel Analytics) – does not store any cookies or identifiers on the user's device
Since all our cookies fall under the exemption for essential cookies and our analytics tools are cookieless, a cookie banner is not legally required.
  • GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) – Performance of a contract – authentication cookies are necessary for providing the service you requested (logging into the platform)
  • GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) – Legitimate interest – anonymous analytics (service improvement) without interference with users' rights
  • § 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. – exemption from consent requirement for technically necessary cookies

7. International Transfers

The following table lists the sub-processors that may process data in connection with cookies and analytics technologies:

ProviderHeadquartersTransfer Safeguards
Supabase Inc.USA (DB: AWS Frankfurt, EU)SCCs pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR
Vercel Inc.USA (EU edge nodes)SCCs pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR + EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF certificate since July 2023)

8. Retention Periods

  • sb-auth-token – until logout or session expiration (max. 7 days of inactivity)
  • sb-auth-token-code-verifier – temporary, deleted after login completion
  • wc_session – 30 days from sign-in; deleted immediately on sign-out
  • Local storage entries – they remain until you clear them in your browser settings. A stored cookie decision carries a version: when the range of cookies in use changes, the old decision ceases to apply and the bar asks again.
  • Vercel Analytics – server-side hash rotates every 24 hours, no persistent storage
  • impersonate_company_id, impersonate_company_name – 4 hours, or until the administrator ends the account view

9. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

Although all our cookies are essential, you can manage them in your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Cookies

Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging into the platform.

10. Rights of Data Subjects

  • Right of access (Art. 15) – information about the processing of your data
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16) – correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17) – deletion of data when no longer necessary
