This policy is part of the Verifento Terms of Service (Art. 12). By using the Platform, you agree to comply with these rules.
1. Permitted Uses
The Platform is intended exclusively for:
- Verifying customers in connection with rental, accommodation, or B2B deliveries within legitimate business activities
- Reporting substantiated incidents with customers
- Managing company website (Website Builder)
- Invoicing your own customers
2. Prohibited Activities
Group A – Account Abuse
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits or sanctions
- Sharing login credentials between multiple individuals or companies
- Attempting reverse engineering, decompilation, or access to source code
Group B – Data and Network Abuse
- Automated scraping or mass searches exceeding rate limits
- Uploading personal data of third parties without a legitimate legal basis
- Uploading unsubstantiated, subjective, or retaliatory records
- Sharing traffic light results with third parties outside your business
Group C – Prohibited Purposes
- Use for marketing, HR decisions, credit scoring, insurance, or other purposes outside rental/accommodation/B2B
- Using the traffic light as a proxy indicator of a protected characteristic (anti-discrimination law)
- Automatic rejection of a customer solely based on the traffic light without human review (Art. 22 GDPR)
- Any activity violating the GDPR, applicable Slovak law, or the rights of third parties
3. Security Obligations
The client is required to:
- Use strong passwords and MFA (where available)
- Assign access rights based on roles (owner/admin/staff) according to actual need
- Immediately report suspected unauthorized access: security@verifento.com
- Not disclose API keys or login credentials
4. Sanctions for Violations
Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or permanent revocation of access to the Platform without the right to a refund. Serious violations may be referred to the relevant authorities.
